Question: Who is using SpiceDB? #1486

Which companies have success in integrating SpiceDB into their solution?

Is there a list?

I assume that Netflix is one of them: https://authzed.com/blog/abac-on-spicedb-enabling-netflix-complex-identity-types

Motivation:

Example: https://github.com/open-policy-agent/opa/blob/main/ADOPTERS.md

We've discussed including this information on a redesigned SpiceDB page on our website, but this issue raises a the question of where is the most appropriate place for this information.

Hi, these are all great questions. I found interesting example: https://github.com/open-policy-agent/opa/blob/main/ADOPTERS.md

There is good example that includes some mini description about integration. It is more convincing than just a list of companies that use.

It would be usefull if there would be link in website and also in the github readme to this list

Hi! Thanks for sharing the OPA example. I also really like how they've included a small usecase with each listing.

We'd really love to collect more user stories, as a matter of fact, it's very near the top of our community engagement to-do list!

To @jzelinskie's point about how to create such a list, proactively or passively, I think we should include anyone that we've been able to talk with publicly and ensure that sharing that information is okay with them.

If someone discloses their usage, it would be great to hear their side of the story anyhow! At the same time, it would also be neat to create a space for anyone to share how they're using SpiceDB!

We've had some very preliminary conversations about utilizing a discussion board to augment the conversation we currently have on Discord. I bet that would be a handy place to provide for adopters to share.
