This also seems to happen when sliding down a wall when falling. If you jump against a wall and press against the wall while falling, the player will snap to the ground early, just like in the above video.
This also has the side effect of forcing a wallkick the next time you jump after this happens.
When walking off ledges at certain heights, the PlayerMover is snapping the player to the ground as if they were going down a shallow step, rather than being airborne for a moment. This seems to only be happening on ledges around 1 meter tall.
