This shouldn't be an update issue. That error is usually the result of irssi not running or multiple instances running. Which then means ruTorrent can't connect to autodl-irssi properly.
Hmm are you sure when i hit update I get:
[19.01.2013 10:43:31] Command failed: Error: Could not connect: (111) Connection refused
The download link seems to have changed to: http://cloud.github.com/downloads/autodl-irssi-community/autodl-irssi/update.xml
http://cloud.github.com/downloads/autodl-irssi-community/autodl-irssi/autodl-irssi-v1.33.zip
May be its having problems auto redirecting?
Also anyone maintaining rutorrent add-on? I see changes made to free leech but its not updated in rutorrent plugin.
I can't replicate your issue. Hitting update works without error for me.
The links are the same as they have been https://github.com/downloads/autodl-irssi-community/autodl-irssi/update.xml and https://github.com/downloads/autodl-irssi-community/autodl-irssi/autodl-irssi-v1.33.zip. They have always redirected as you see in the debug log.
Nobody is currently maintaining the ruTorrent plugin. I do have a desire to add it to the autodl-irssi-community fold. It not only needs to be updated for new things we've added to autodl-irssi, it's layout desperately needs a redesign. But until then, you will have to manually edit autodl.cfg for things not in the plugin.
Error downloading files. Make sure autodl-irssi is started and configured properly (eg. password, port number): Error getting files listing: Error: Could not connect: (111) Connection refused Command failed: Error: Could not connect: (111) Connection refused
In rutorrent Log. Update URL must have changed.
