Notifications are not sent to (or received at) alfs-log@lists.linuxfromscratch.org #16

Describe the bug Not matter the activity on this repository, nothing is sent to (or received at) alfs-log@lists.linuxfromscratch.org

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create a local branch
  2. Do some modifications, commit, push
  3. Make a PR, discuss, merge

Expected Behavior Notifications should be sent to the above address

Observed Behavior Nothing happens at the above mail address

Screenshots/Terminal Output N/A

Environment Details (please complete the following information): N/A

Additional context In Settings/Notifications, we have the above address set for: "Setup email addresses to receive notifications when push events are triggered." Does it mean only push events are notified? But if so, why don't we see something when we push to a just created branch?

Maybe something is not set OK on linuxfromscratch.org... Let's ask Bruce whether mails have been rejected.

Let me try to push directly to master (it's a small push, sorry for not using the PR approach)

I've been given admin privs for alfs-logs, and made some change. Let's see whether this comment is sent to it. I have also some issues to open, followed by PRs and (hopefully) merges. This will give some chance to see something arriving at alfs-log... If not, I'm at loss.

This thing is not working, but I think it is not needed anymore, so closing for now
