Hi All,

I have been developing new version of the thermostat lately. Let me know your ideas what functions should widgets have.

Plan is to release it before Christmas.

So far additional functions made:

Hi, I like your widget a lot. The additional functions you mentioned would be a great improvement.

Hi @automatikas your improvemts sounds great. I would like to have the option to change all the colors within the options tab. Also i would love to have the option to set the x.1 values for ambient & target temperature. Free choice of icons would be great.

Do you know when you will finish?

Thx for your hard work :)

Today thermostat is really cool, but it could be improved, managing thermal inertia. IE setting target temperature in heating to 20 °C, waiting ambient temperature equals to 20 and switch became off. If next incoming "ambient_temperature" is 19.9 thermostat immediately switch to heat, this is uggly, because it could heat a ultil little bit more than target (ie + 0.5), switching to off until a little bit less than target temperature (IE -0.5), so in this way it will heat to 20.5, goes in stop and come back heating when temperature is 19.5

it's really cool if this values, under and over, shall be parameters

Thank you, really a great work guys!

When will you release the new version??

Moosbueffel commented 1 year ago

An improvement would still be the line of the target temperature in color to mark / set off. Problem is, if e.g. the sun shines and the ambient temperature is above the target temperature, that this can not be detected directly (normally the target temperature is higher).

Otherwise good ideas. Also the hysteres suggested by @fabrix76 would be good of course.

But is there then a further development??

Not sure if it's too late, but would be really nice if the output could be tagged as coming from the input or a user interaction.

There is no response since 2 years, i think this project is dead...

I added the line myself, it was pretty simple to do in the end.
