Wallet Sync Issue - Unable to transfer #475

Hi Team,

I'm using V 1.4.2 and everytime I open my wallet, it doesn't sync and displays "sync failed". I've downloaded and tried, still the same. I've also rescanned, still the same. I'm unable to move MET from my wallet to an exchange. Kindly help.

Root cause

The wallet currently makes a single query for Ethereum logs, which no longer works as the ethereum blockchain and Metronome got larger and more used. The initial implementation was a bit naive and worked just fine at the beginning. Not anymore.

Solution (fix)

Update the wallet to query logs in batches, instead of doing it in a single query.

If there is a developer reading this who knows React Native and JavaScript, you are invited to submit a PR.

I'm having the same issue for the past couple of weeks, I just tried the desktop wallet and same as the mobile. I can't widthdraw any tokens, I see a lot promotion of this token being so great but they look like they're stealing my funds

Hi JCorrea81,

May be next time you can hide your balance :)

I was informed that if we have to transfer the coin from your wallet, we can still use the phrase (which you have received when setting the wallet) and open in MEW. I think you'll need some ETH in that address for gas fee. Hope this helps.

However, someone will still have to fix this wallet issue.

thanks for getting back to me, it's been a terrible experience with this wallet. I didn't even notice I was showing my balance.

Unfortunately, yes. Luckily, the support is OK and managed to understand how to transfer the coins.

MEW = My Ether Wallet

Open MEW, access wallet and select mnemonic phrase. Once you have access to the ERC20 tokens, you can transfer to the exchange where MET is listed. Enter the phrase which you have received when setting the Met wallet. As mentioned, MET tech team will still have to provide a solution for the Met wallet issue.

Hello. Please help There is a problem with the wallet from metronome. Do you know how to fix this? Thank you. Or can you somehow restore through metamask? But I don't remember the seed phrase

@ASR83 Told me to get "my Eth Wallet" and got my ETh out of there. I used the same seed phrase from the metronome wallet on the MEW. I was able to transfer it out.

I connect to my wallet and see means. But synchronization does not pass and I do not remember the seed phrase. Can't you export a seed phrase?

Closing in favor of #480. The issue is being resolved.
