Abstract
This proposal seeks approval to create and fund an Operational Committee wallet, which can spend MET as needed on behalf of Metronome, for the betterment of the Metronome ecosystem. This Committee is needed for day-to-day marketing and operational expenses that the Metronome team has quick access to without going through a DAO proposal and vote.
This Committee will have limited powers and limited access to MET reserves. All expenditures over 100,000 MET must go through a DAO proposal and voting process.
Expectations
Following proposal acceptance, the committee will be created. Committee members who have sufficient community trust and executive competence will be added. 100,000 MET from the MET DAO Treasury will be sent to the newly created multi-sig wallet.
The Committee can then spend any amount of this 100,000 MET at their sole discretion. All transactions will be visible on the Ethereum blockchain, and shall be accompanied by internal record-keeping with further details of the activity (e.g. vendor receipts, business deal details).
As MET DAO community members rise in trust, they can be added to the Operational Committee through a proposal process.
The general expectation is that Metronome team members will be heavily weighted in the initial Committee. Over time, a concerted effort will be made to onboard more MET DAO community members, mirroring the path to decentralization overall.
