@vexr, we've just discussed with the ecosystem team and decided that, at this point, we prefer to stick to updating the releases manually.

The main reasons for that are:

• We often don't just update the release, but add some additional notes or tips to releases. Doing this manually helps to ensure that docs and all commands get updated according to the release notes.
• Each release has a corresponding Discord announcement, and docs updates + new version announcements usually go together. This way we ensure that all farmers are getting announcements in a timely matter.

I appreciate the work that you've put into this. We can either merge it without deployment (keeping the components in a helper file, ready to go in case we've decided to switch to automatic updates). Alternatively, you can have a separate section on one of the community-built pages and link all the most up-to-date releases there. Thanks for your understanding!

No worries at all. I don’t think a community built page with build numbers is necessary at the moment and it might be a distraction. If there’s no immediate plan to implement it, keeping it could lead to unnecessary tech debt down the road. We can close this PR for now and revisit it if circumstances change.
