I need to remember that there are a tonne of reasons why people might use GitHub Issues. I can see these use cases:

Full process adherence where everything is tracked in Issues (supported).
Issues as notes: not all functionality is in Issues but some things are (partially supported).
Not using Issues at all and just committing randomly to the repository (partially supported).

Notes

If I was serious about increasing the use base, a version should be anything that has the regex pattern: v\d.*. But that's for another ticket.
