Description

To define setup used for comparison of simulation tools

Purpose

To enable selection of simulation tools used in Autoware Projects

Desired Behavior

Created description of the benchmarking setup

Definition of Done

Description of the simulation setup

[x] Simulation environment - SeaTac Airport scene prepared for Cargo ODD
[x] Number of sensors - 1 camera, 1 LIDAR
[x] LIDAR sensors specification (Velodyne-16, 10 Hz)
[x] Camera sensor specification (800x600, FOV = 60 deg, 10 Hz)
[x] Scenario(s) - Path 1 from the comment

Here are two candidates for the path. If you find the first path is rather difficult to drive manually (since we don't need to drive automatically for the benchmark), the second one would be an easier choice.

The 1st Path

See the red line sim_path_01-1_path

Starting Point sim_path_01-2_start_point

End Point sim_path_01-3_end_point

The 2nd Path

See the red line - has less curvature than the first path, making it easier to drive sim_path_02-1_path

Starting Point sim_path_02-2_start_point

End Point sim_path_02-3_end_point
