The slider used is BxSlider(http://bxslider.com/). We should use some HD-pics from here to prevent distortion : https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/23282957/auv_pics.zip

Replaced slider with Bootstrap 3 carousel
Centre aligned images
Added rescaled images
Set carousel background color to match navbar in case smaller images have to be used.
