You should enable the GitHub sponsoring on your account so people/organisation can easily sponsor. I would sponsor you a few euro per month for your work for the python/django community. Given all the work your do in meaningful open source repository, I think it would get you quickly a significant source of income. See setting up GitHub Sponsors for your personal account.
