https://github.com/avafinger/bananapi-zero-ubuntu-base-minimal with Kernel 5.6.5 Server.

Is this a matter or recoiling for armhf?

Appreciate the info on the steps to do so.

installs well but cpu temp not displaying

avafinger commented 4 years ago

Kernel is the issue. It is missing the Temp policy configuration. I will look into it. Unfortunately, wlan support is also missing.

New Kernel 5.6.13-server with the CPU Temp, DVFS and BT fix here: https://github.com/avafinger/bananapi-zero-ubuntu-base-minimal/releases/tag/v3.6

gavan1 commented 4 years ago

ran it on the bpi-m2z-8GB-sd-ubuntu_eoan_kernel_fbdev_5.3.11.img + linux-image-5.6.13-server_1.0-44.deb as well as the linux-image-5.6.5-server_1.0-43.deb

not getting any CPU temp reading, maybe make a full new server OS (19.10) image release with this kernel.

BT is working great!!!

Did you run: sudo htop

You need to be root to get CPU Temp, CPU Freq.

Ahhh didn't realize there was another step to add the meter! I see hostname but too bad no way to add IP.
