Need to do some code refactoring to improve maintainability and track further issues to fix, here's the list of tasks

[x] componentize the code better
[x] errors should be more graceful
[ ] track finalisation of transactions, and update status accordingly #66
[ ] #62
[x] remove try catches from lower level fns and test cc @moraesjeremias
[x] have a common websocket connection exposed instead of initialising multiple conns
