What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
-I expect to see the normal button on the mini-map. I expect to be able to find
the preferences in the add-on pane.
-Accountant *is* listed, and loaded, according to the WoW add-on (the log-in
add-on screen/button). The button, however, is no longer where I put it on the
mini-map’s boundary; the preferences are not listed in interface - and worse,
for me: the normal accountant screen is blank. The small drop down in the upper
left corner is blank (no options); the screen has the usual items, but no
numbers.

What version of Accountant are you using,(don't say latest, give us the
version number)

Does the problem still exist when you only Load accountant?
-Yes.
The first time this happened, I had to reload Accountant, which of course meant
a loss of all prior data. Reloading everything, again, worked.
Now, it’s not working. I *believe* the first time this happened was when I
switched realms (I have toons on two different realms that I play), but -
it’s been solid on both until today.
