Colour scheme not applying correctly #71

The issue I am having is really confusing me, and it didn't seem to be there on Gnome 43 on openSUSE, but it is happening on Gnome 43 on Fedora. When I apply a wallpaper, the colour scheme doesn't always get applied, and at times when it does, the colour scheme that gets applied seems like it would work better with the previous wallpaper instead of the current one what seems like a decent amount of time too. The material you theme also has a lot of trouble applying itself, and I usually have to log out to get it to work, this especially goes for the shell theme. These issues seemed like they were nonexistent on openSUSE Gnome 43. Any idea why this may be happening?

I am also using the adw-gtk3 theme for gtk3 applications. Material you theme seemed to play quite nicely with it in openSUSE, but it now seems to be having issues applying a colour scheme to it, in the same way material you theme has issues applying a colour theme to libadwaita applications.

I am on Fedora 37 with Gnome 43.2, and I am using version 14 of material you theme. I did install nodejs, which comes with npm, so I didn't have to worry about installing npm, and I also applied the material you shell theme via gnome tweaks.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how I could resolve the issues I am encountering?

Thanks.

I have the same problem on fedora, the problem was also present by #67, but for him/her it fixed itself, so i'm kinda hoping it will also fix itself on fedora. Anyways, we don't store the wallpaper, so it shouldn't be a bug in the code of this extension but in the function that returns the current wallpaper

I have this problem too, Fedora 37

I am also experiencing this issue. Additionally, some wallpapers will correctly change the theme every time, while others won't trigger the change, and still others will only apply the theme AFTER i've changed the wallpaper again meaning the wrong theme is applied to the wrong wallpaper. I am running GNOME 43 on Manjaro.

I think this is related to #42. This is really annoying, anyone know a workaround?

I can confirm this bug is still happening, I'm using Pop!_OS 22.04
