Bookmarks Bar missing on Mac #849

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Make sure at least one bookmark is on the bookmarks bar.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to see a toolbar containing the bookmark, but it's not visible at 
all.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
git revision 0405e86, Mac OSX 10.5
