Can't add bookmarks to bookmarks bar #850

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a web page
2. Use the "Add Bookmark" command.
3. Select "Bookmarks Bar" from the combo box.
4. Press OK.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The bookmark should, of course, be added to the bookmarks bar, but instead it 
ends up in the 
Bookmarks Menu. (Note that adding bookmarks to subfolders inside the Bookmarks 
Menu works.)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
git revision 0405e86, Mac OSX 10.5
