Recover last used tabs opens empty tabs #855

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Set the option to recover the last used tabs when opening
2.Close arora
3.Start arora
4.The browser opens the exact number of tabs you had, but they are all empty

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It should open the pages you had on each tab

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.10.2

Please provide any additional information below.
This didn't happen in the previous version.

Thanks for your hard work.

This is happening for me, too. As far as I can tell, it started somewhere in
0.10.x and is still happening to me in 0.10.2, so I've mostly backed out to 0.9
for the time being. If it helps, all of the systems I run it on are x86-64 on
Linux (CRUX and Arch).

II think it might be in the chunk that saves the session, because restoring the
arora.conf saved by 0.9 will cause the tabs to be properly populated on startup
by 0.10, but the next restart gives blank tabs. I get the same result with Qt
4.6.1 and 4.6.3.

Hope this was helpful, and thanks for rescuing all of us from Firefox and
Chrome.
