Jun TSUNEMATSU emailed and I add it here so I remember to fix it

page 39: "a single elephant (which weighs about 7000 kilograms according to the graph)" But according to Figure 3.5(left), elephant's log(BM) is 8, so its weight should be e^8=2980kg. And it seems Elephant is located at 2980 on body mass in kilogram in Figure 3.5(right).

Thanks for reporting this. I measured the weights and metabolism from the fig 3.4 more accurately, and the weight of elephant is approximately 3700kg (in the original source 3680kg). I updated the text, figure 3.5 and the R code to match the more accurate values.
