Audio volume not persisted between tracks #19

Hi,

Just a short feedback from the usage. The first song I've run was too loud on my headphones, so I decreased the sound using the system dialog. When the next song started, I almost loosed my hearing, as the volume reset again to the original level.

I recommend everyone not trying this project for the first time with the headphones and first making sure you know how to decrease the sound level persistently (using the volume control directly in the app, not in the system dialog) Your ears will thank you later (too late for mine: they must hate me right now for the shock)

What flavor of Linux are you using and which desktop environment/volume controller? I'd like to figure out if this can be fixed. :D
