I like this!
Amazing idea! *thinks back to the old base in the desert
thnx =)
What if there were guild bank pages? And also Guild Officers?
bank pages sounds cool.... but officers? what commands would they get?
It depends on what commands the Guild leader wants to allow to Officers
Awesome idea, but it seems to be a bit too ambitious for this point in the project. Maybe later.
A guild is more of a group of player who share a separate but common goal. for example if 5 or 6 people who are very good at making buildings look great. they could start a guild and name it anything (for the sake of simplicity they decided on the name "Architects Guild") they would ask an admin to start a guild.
Requirements for starting a guild:
A guild plot can be interlaced with a "town" plot (a guild lot is a large lot to build a guild hall)
the admin setting up the guild would be responsible for making sure the guild name is appropriate and the 4 people actually wish to start a guild, as well as taking the currency (should be rather expensive) for the example lets say the names of the four people are Jon, Bob, Mark, and Fred
example command: /guild start (guild name) (guild leader's name) (witness 1) (witness 2) (witness 3)
to folow the example so far the admin would type:
/guild start Architect Jon Bob Mark Fred
to which Jon would have a title as and this followers would have the title of the guilds name
a guild masters Job is to organize the guild, find new members, and find jobs for the guild.
Guildmaster commands: /guild invite (invitee's name) /guild setspawn /guild disband /guild setmessage (message) /guild kick /guild description (description)
Guild member commands (guildmaster also gets these) /guild list /guild spawn /guild message /guild leave
Any command that starts with /guild could be condensed into /g
to invite a new member to a guild a guildmaster would type /guild invite (name) and that person would get an invite message "(you have been invited to Architect, to accept type /guild accept or /guild decline to decline)"
A guildmaster can set his guilds spawn point, so if a guild member types /guild spawn they will be teleported to the guild spawn
A guild master can type / guild Disband which removes the guild and the guild plots protection and kicks all players in the guild
a guild master can set a guild message by typing /guild setmessage (message) the message can be anything really like "have a nice day" to "there is a job working for Deaboy at coordinates 0 0 0" and things like that
a guildmaster can kick a player from his guild if said player breaks guild rules or is a general nuisance
a guildmaster can add a description to their guild using /guild description
Guild member commands:
a member can type /guild list for a list of all players in their guild
a member can type /guild spawn to be teleported to guild spawn
a member can type /guild message to see the guilds set message (default message should be "have a nice day")
a member who wants to leave the guild can type /guild leave
General server member commands /guild find /guild (guild name) info
/guild find lists all guilds
/guild (guildname) info gives info, Guild leader, the guilds description, the number of people in the guild, and whatever other creative things you might want to add ;)
if a guild falls below the minimum 4 guild members the guild is automatically disbanded
a player can only belong to one guild and until they leave a guild they will not receive any invite from other guilds
if possible a guild bank where members can store things they want the guild to have (building materials or money, things like that)
Admin Guild commands /guild (guild name) (any guildmaster command and all member commands except /guild leave)
admins would also have full control over ALL guilds so if a certain guild is causing a lot of trouble it can be maintained or disbanded
i think i got everything down here, its another text wall sorry. anything can be added or removed from this list at your will. i feel it might be alot to code =/ but im not sure.
