Fairer ban/kick duration - Different team members have different ideas of duration of bans/kicks, maybe it should be more consistent. Instead of /ban 24h you type /ban rude or instead of /ban 30d you type /ban hacking you can type /ban to see the list of offences/durations.
Auto-banning/kicking; of people who spam, flood, or swear repeatedly.
Honey pot; special public lots, if more than 2 blocks of it are destroyed the name of the player is noted. The user who set it up can check the list with a command. Perhaps it could rebuild itself every 6 hours or something, too complicated?

I think the ban/kick duration is a great idea. Although i don't necessarily agree with an auto-ban, what if the filter/anti-spam thinks you are spamming/cursing when you really just spelled something wrong or are having bad lag?

It would need to allow for things like that I guess. Like 3 swears within an hour will get you a kick or a ban or something, and more than 3 floods in 10 minutes or something will get you kicked/banned.

I agree with your first point about ban duration, however I've never been a big fan of plugin-controlled honeypots, since they sometimes produce false positives. Also, if implemented, the chat spam/swear detector would have to be for muting, not banning.

Completely forgot about muting, but yes that would be fine too!

Agreed. Would need a permission that specifies who can customize the ban lengths.
