Unable to use xim on Ubuntu 10.03

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Fresh install Ubuntu 10.04 Netbook Remix with English locale
2.Install xsunpinyin and sunpinyin-data-le
3.im-switch -c, select xsunpinyin
4.Logout and login, open firefox, press control-space

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Should switch to Chinese mode. I say "Ying" icon on the right-corner, and
it will not switch to "Han" after I press control-space.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Ubuntu 10.04 beta 2, deb package provided earlier in mailing list

Add a label for it to identify the area this issue belongs to.
