We are unsure what the tester refers to double meaning of commands. We believe that the statements presented were clear to users that the -edit LIST_OF_TAGS
can be replaced by either -del LIST_OF_TAGS
or -del
to achieve two different functions.

Reason for disagreement: Understand the users believed that the statements presented were clear to users that the -edit LIST_OF_TAGS can be replaced by either -del LIST_OF_TAGS or -del to achieve two different functions.
But this is in much disagreement from a tester's point of view given that language use. Developers used two separate sentences to explain two different functions without mentioning that it was an EITHER OR.
To improve language use:
Developers can simply add an OR between the two sentences
OR
Further elaborate that users can achieve two different functions with either the top or bottom command.
Simply pasting two separate sentences, without any connectors between them, clearly explains the two features.
However, that does not clearly explain the EITHER OR portion of the developers' intended message to users.
Given the poor language use, it is a documentation flaw.
why is there double meaning to commands?
