Reason for disagreement: As mentioned in another bug report. The report is severely convoluting.

While it was mentioned in the UG, it could have been easily missed out, especially given the lengthy nature of the UG.

To be clear, this is feature flaw report. As such, to paraphrase, the feature to allow so much flexibility to users can dampen their experience with the program. It would be better for the program to have some fixed rigidity, for users to follow a fixed format.

That way, users are very clear of what instructions to put for their respective commands, instead of having to waste time thinking if certain fields are optional/ sequence-insensitive.

As such, mentioning it in the user guide and giving users so much input flexibility seems to be a mere safety net for the developer team to cover for imperfect features all at once
