Creating work item with same Area Path from parent #14

Hi, I want to create a child item and for now this is working.

I just want to get the same Area Path from its parent but this field is still not copying since the variable should be "System.Area Path". What am I doing wrong? Thank you!

Thank you for using my extension

I never try to copy the are path, I will check it Sunday….

I believe "System.Area Path" you mean “System.AreaPath” there is no spaces.

Actually its depend on witch ADO\TFS you uses

In my uses cases I used the area id and it copy the area path also.

Try it.

Perfect! thank you. This worked using "System.AreaId". Such a handful extension :)
