please add i18n support with gettext #54

Hi,

it would be very nice if you could add i18n support through gettext. I'm
offering to do the German translation for it.

Awesome! You're absolutely right. We do need localization support! It's on the 
list
for the next release. When we start implementing the code, I'll get a hold of 
you for
the German translation. Thanks for being willing to help!!!
