@avioli Hi there! This is a very important change, not to say urgent.
Is there anything we can do to make this release happen faster?

We're using this branch for months now in a released project. Sadly, it seems that this lib is abandoned...

@sezabass I did create a new repository for this (https://github.com/adelarsq/uni_links3), since I am also using this. PRs are welcome

Thank you for this contribution, but I don't have any time to maintain this package, so it is now marked as discontinued and app_links recommended replacement.
