Old (instant) scale animation is suitable for small angles rotation, but it accumulates error while used multiple times (i.e. wide angle rotation is presented as a number of small rotations) by design.
For such cases, there is animated scale, which normally should be conducted when rotation is finished and space fix is required.
Rotation could be used without any fixes though.
