Ideas to improve search engine optimization:

• Change the sidebar on the blog to use AJAX; Google currently indexes every version of the blog page with a different parameter value as a different page. For example, http://www.memverse.com/blog/main/Changes_to_Memory_Verse_Tags?page=1 and http://www.memverse.com/blog/main/Changes_to_Memory_Verse_Tags?page=2 are indexed separately. I believe this contributes to Google listing "says" as the most popular keyword on Memverse!
• Use more unique meta descriptions. For blog posts, perhaps we can add a text area in the create/edit view for authors to type a description. For show verse actions, we can put in the beginning words of the verse text.
• Add other ideas as we think of them.

I've linked Webmaster to the Google Analytics account so you can see the performance of the various keywords.

We're still rising on most of the important keywords so we should just keep the blog reasonably focused on memorization and I think Memverse will soon be close to the top on most of the important search terms.
