I would add my suggestion of XML save/load or export/import to this thread.

Not only in case of scanning large volumes, but if the filelist could be exported to a datatable format (.csv), with various attributes attached, people coud analyse the results on other tools.

Please please please implement this. I think it should be elevated in priority as well. I too use it on large volumes and the scan time takes forever. Would love to be able to save the results to share and reference.

This feature would be very welcome. I'm trying to clean up a shared network drive which currently has 1.1TB of files. It takes over an hour to scan the entire directory structure with WinDirStat, and have to repeat the process every time my computer restarts. Thank you.

I would love to be able to run a WDS scan and then save the output for later 'offline' viewing. Once the scan was complete and saved in some sort of (proprietary?") WDS format, I could take the file and open it up as a snapshot for that drive at that point in time. This way file could be opened up on another computer with WDS, perhaps to present to a client.
