I use OneDrive, if I set a file as online-only, it still exists as a smart-file locally and appears to have a size. But, the 'size on disk' property can be small.
My OneDrive folder uses up only 300mb of disk space, but WinDirStat reports that it uses over 100Gb.
Original comment byA Koch (Bitbucket: Cayp, GitHub: Cayp):
It also shows incorrect size for compressed files (NTFS compression) because of difference in "size" and "size on disk".
All space differerence appears as "unknown".
