Hi,
I'm running Windows 10 Pro and I'm usually logged in as a non-elevated user.
I just ran windirstat1_1_2_setup.exe to install windirstat. I was asked to enter admin credentials. In the subsequent installation dialog, I selected "Create a program group in startmenu" and deselected "create shortcut on the desktop". In the subsequent installation dialog, I selected "Create a program group in startmenu" and deselected "create shortcut on the desktop". The program was installed into "C:\Program Files (x86)\WinDirStat\ " At the end of the installation, I deselected the checkbox to "run windirstat".
According to the log entries displayed in the installation dialog, the program shortcut was only installed for the Admin user, i.e.,
"Create folder: C:\Users**Administrator**\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\WinDirStat"
Consequently, as a non-admin user I don't see the start menu entry. Only the Admin user sees the start menu entry.
I think the link in start menu should be installed for all users.
