World map disappears when pop-up window is shown #59

4. Speed up game and wait for research to complete

Background "map" should be still displayed.

To clarify, the background graphics is not shown after clicking away the pop-up 
window

Doesn't reproduce here.  Message comes up, background greys out, and when you 
close
it, it's back to normal.

Could you run it from a command line, to see if any errors are produced?

This issue doesn't always come up. With the savegame I am attaching (load game, 
and
then speed up to the max), I get the black background roughly half the time,

When running from command line, lots of following error messages are printed:
"Warning: divide by zero encountered in true_divide"

janeczek - I think I just inadvertently found and fixed this.  Could you please 
grab
a fresh copy from SVN (r894) or git (019451) and test?
