What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. First try to run the exe file
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to have a setting windows instead of the error windows

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows 7 Ultimate on Acer Aspire 7750G (64bit)

The same on Sony Vaio VGN-FZ11S with Windows 7 Ultimate

I was able to fix the problem by going to www.Synaptics.com and downloading the 
15.2.20 driver.  When I restarted the computer the problem went away.

Same problem in a Samsung Series 9, Windows 8 x64 Pro.

At least, the error message should say "Your Mouse is Unsupported" or something like that...
