I am having the exact same issue.
Downloaded the 1.0.6 zip file, extracted it to my desktop, double clicked the
executable and this error pops up.

- Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit
- Alpa touch pad (does this program even support Alpa?)

I'm having the same error with Win7-64bit. I noticed it shows up under the list
of notification options for the system tray (if that means anything).

Yeh, this sucks - its such a great idea but there's just no support for Win 7
x64... everyone says its not the OS but I've got all the drivers and it just
doesn't seem to do anything...

I just tried it on my Lenovo T510 (Synaptics) with Win 7 Pro 64 bit and it
works great.

I think I have the solution. I have a Dell 1520 with Win 7 Prof 64x, and I was
getting the same error message, "Class not registered, bla-bla..."

So I installed a Synaptic Touchpad driver (the general one found on the
Synaptic website) to at least get one-finger scroll. Out of curiosity, I then
tested Two-Finger Scroll again, and voila, no error! It now works perfectly for
me.
