D830 - Class not registered Error #70

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Unzipped on desktop, double click to run
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Doesn't launch - gives "Class no registered, ClassID:
{9C042297-D1CD-4F0D-B1AB-9F48AD6ADFF}."

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0.6 on XP Pro on a Dell Latitude D830

Please provide any additional information below.

I am having the same issue with D830 w/win 7. tried runing as admin and in 
several 
comptatability modes with no luck.

Same problems here on a Dell studio 1537 win 7 64x, also tried in several 
compatibility 
modes and as administrator.

So - my apologies for such a NOOB error.
The D830 and probably many other dells, use a ALPS touchpad, not a synamptics.
Therefore, it's QUITE obvious why it doesn't work.
Check your hardware profile for your touchpad manufacturer first.
