Is it possible to make it work for 3ds max 2016? #24

I tried to install this extension to a more recent version of 3ds max 2016 and i can't export it to awd because i get "Don't know how to save to that file type". And when starting 3ds max i get "maxawdexporter dle is not made for this version of the program". I know this repo is not supported anymore but is it possible to make it work for 2016 with just small changes? Thanks

i guess its possible to make the update with just small changes.

What would need to be done is do recompile the plugin with the SDK provided with 3dsmax2016.

With a bit of luck there will not be much changes need to be done in the code to have it work in 2016.

But i have no 2016 version of 3dsmax, and also time is very short these days, so i do not think that i can do the update in near future.

I am sure i will update the plugin at some point, but right now i can not tell you when that will happen.

A easier way for you would be to use a earlier version of 3dsmax.

I need the plugin for 3ds max 2020 version. Is there anyone to help generate the plugin?!!!!!!!!!!!

Last time I used it half a year ago, still had to use 3ds 2014. I don't think you'll get any help, either you can update plugin yourself, or you should use 2014.
