This greasyfork script https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/417864-show-twitter-image-alt-text and the bookmarklet found here that it is based on: https://adrianroselli.com/2015/01/css-bookmarklets-for-testing-and-fixing.html#NewTwitterAlt can address this issue. Also note that Adrian Roselli explicitly gives permission to steal it. :eyes:
I've been using these CSS codes through the Stylus extension and finally got around to writing them down. Takes 5 minutes tops to set up.
AFAIK, the only way to see whether a Twitter image has an Alt Text and what it is is via 'View source code' and navigate to the image element.
It would be neat if this extension could also provide the means to display the Alt Text of images in your Twitter feed. Then you can learn from others on how to write better image descriptions.
