06 Implement backend advanced block ready theme and editorial workflow

Note: We are pivoting to block ready theme until WordPress full site editing is production ready, from 06 Implement backend full site editing block based theme and editorial workflow #6 to this issue. Which is to be based on a backend CMS and content REST API, based on the very advanced block ready (but not full site editing block based) Michelle theme.

It's interesting cuz we're establishing a best of breed pre-fullsiteediting WordPress stack, which will then be migrated to best of breed fullsiteedting WordPress stack in the blog itself!

To quote from where we leave off full site editing for the time being:

In this way we will be able to more quickly set up our still headless WordPress site, and when the time is ripe accompany the vanguard of the WordPress community in migrating to full site editing in either WordPress 5.8 or WordPress 5.9. (and have a blog to do it with after having paralyzed it in 2015 due to apocalyptic industry "growing" pains)

So:

• Work up till now saved on branch fse-pure
• Commit chore(awf-blocks pure fse theme): for #7 stop tracking and remove fse block based theme
• Commit feat(awf-block-ready) for #7 initial commit as block ready Michelle child theme
• Work continues on main branch as of this commit

Installed and activated EditorsKit plugin (available on WordPress.org as Gutenberg Block Editor Toolkit – EditorsKit)

With the aim of enhancing block options, as well as providing Markdown together with wonderful text editing features together with workflow support in order to meet site editing and content management needs for this and other projects.

Did look into iceberg, but it's sickeningly "store-bought" (open source since on GitHub, but you have to pay to use it with a license) and kind of takes over everything too much, not lending itself to be part of a multi-source community workflow (even with multi-user access, the item being edited is not part of a bigger picture; admittedly that's a plus if it's you just writing a novel, but even there it's not all about immersing onself in a single text).

• [x] Support conversion of migrated HTML fields from classic editor to block format in an ordered yet interactive manner, only as needed.
  • Best idea is plugin mentioned in Justin Tadlock's article 10up Creates Classic Post Migration Route With Its Convert to Blocks WordPress Plugin, since it automatically converts content upon entering the editing screen. So the conversion can be checked and/or corrected (or left as is by leaving the editing screen without updating).

  • New project from scratch in best of breed fullsiteediting WordPress stack: my not too future literary workshop and self-publishing group membership site (an "Etsy" for writers!)
  • Just be one more member and share my experience there, write my poetry and a novel
  • Help or at least support where I can, the international socialist revolution
