This post (http://donw.io/post/github-comments/) reminded me how much I dislike Disqus, though how appreciative I am that it's free! Using GitHub as an alternative is interesting. It doesn't support nesting, but it may be worth giving a spin. If not GitHub, then something else is needed because Disqus is pretty slow.
