It's a good summary and review.

I was not familiar with calibration of modern NN, but by this review, I can understand what it is and the approach.

Use $$ $$ instead of $ $. It was hard to read your review because of the wrong math symbol format.

It would be better if you provide the reason why model calibration is important. I understood the concept of calibration, but I don't know why it is important or why it is needed.
