We're a funded Singapore startup, Blimp.db (www.blimp.sg), offering a one-of-a-kind web platform for the construction industry that simplifies collaboration & material sourcing. We've launched in Singapore and are planning to enter other countries within the next year. Major architectural firms in Singapore are already trialling our platform.

We're looking for true geeks who want to make a Great Web App that keeps getting more powerful and elegant, instead of working on multiple contract projects on rushed schedules. Our dev team is currently mostly Vietnamese.

You'll work on both the backend and frontend of our mobile-friendly site, learning and discussing along the way. Our stack: Ruby on Rails, AngularJS, PostgreSQL (secondary: Node.js, Redis).

You should:

• be a smart junior/fresher web developer with 0-3 years experience
• have completed a significant part of at least one web application in any language or framework - we use Rails + AngularJS, but you can learn on the job. Experience with frameworks like Angular, React, Ember, Ionic, Meteor.js, etc. is a plus.
• communicate logically and clearly in English
• be highly detail-oriented yet pragmatic - sloppy engineering means pain for everyone down the road
• work independently without any supervision - we don't want to have to chase you for work!
• self-learn very quickly, and find solutions quickly without much assistance
• love programming and exploring new technologies (front-end frameworks, functional programming, new databases, data analysis tools, ML) or participating in open source/StackOverflow
• be willing to stay with us for at least 2 years
