Why it would be awesome to work with us
Don't you hate it when you spend time developing a great product and no one uses it?
As a PHP and Web AR Full Stack Developer at Searix, you will be working with web application frameworks across the stack for both frontend and backend development. You will be working with other developers and designers to implement and integrate systems.
This role is not about working on a single product / platform and developing it in-depth.
Instead, the role will require you to quickly put together proofs of concept, experiment with APIs and libraries, and customise existing and new solutions in a matter of days. Although development timelines are short, you will get to work on a multitude of concepts and products. Your work will also likely be immediately used in an event or a campaign by hundreds or thousands of people.
If this sounds interesting and exciting to you, we'd love for you to apply.
Interesting engineering projects
We've been foraying into Web AR projects lately, especially using libraries like tflite, three.js, jeeliz and mind-ar to build engagement tools for events and campaigns, such as games, media booths and digital displays.
While there are parts of the role that involve more minor customisations for deployments, it will also include experimenting with the creation of new products, optimising the existing ones, fixing issues with new technologies like these.
