About the Role

We are seeking a passionate DevOps/Platform Engineer to join our core team. As part of the core team, you will collaborate closely with the founders to build a category-defining product.

What you'll be doing:

Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and maintain Dozer Cloud APIs and CLI to provision infrastructure for data API - backends.
Design, implement, and optimize the orchestration process to ensure smooth deployment and scaling of data API backends on Kubernetes ensuring high availability and performance of the infrastructure.
Contribute to the overall architecture and design decisions of the Dozer platform, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
Document the infrastructure provisioning process and provide clear guidelines and instructions for developers and users of the Dozer platform.
Actively participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and team meetings to promote a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Our core team will make all decisions toward the product and engineering roadmap.
Write clean and maintainable code that is properly tested and reviewed.
Build automated test cases to ensure the utmost quality of the platform.
Collaborate and actively engage with our open-source community.

What will set you up for success:

Proficient with Kubernetes, Terraform
Proficient with AWS
Working knowledge of one of the programming languages. Rust will be great.
Experience in building scalable distributed systems; data pipelines and architectures.
We value knowledge and passion for building highly scalable design patterns;
Experience in working with highly interdependent and complex multi-service architecture with a keen eye on performance and throughput.
Working knowledge with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
Platform and backend experience is a bonus.
