Technical management to the R&D team
• Manage deployments and customer projects for LINAGORA in Vietnam. This includes:
✗ Formalize customer needs and address them with precise technical propositions
✗ Collaborate with partners and staff to document and implement those solutions
✗ Report regarding project progress to top management.
• Represent LINAGORA company in technical events
• Act as a bridge with the parent company and international branches, and with relevant parties to effectively manage and deploy projects and activities according to the company's direction and strategy.
• Contribute to the Twake workplace according to your skill set.
• Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones
• Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives
• Recruit and train employees when needed to fulfill posted positions within the technical department
• Partner with teams across business functions to drive organizational efficiency.
Solution architecture:
• You will review and enrich Design and document architecture decisions (ADRs) written by the teams
• Evaluate required workload, identify required skills
• Validate customer requirements and present them with matching technical solutions
• Supervise project delivery and handover detailed tasks to the project team
• Work with subject matter experts to identify problem areas
• Technical watch: propose IT solutions to company challenges and to potential prospects
• Ensure QA and IT documentation.
Other:
• Pre-sales actions concerning all the activities and products offered by the company (software, services and consulting); support sales teams and operational teams in the prospection and proposal development phases
• Intervene in the implementation of the proposed solutions, realize models and/or POC and demonstrate it to our clients/prospects
• Initiate and strengthen R&D through business-university partnerships, R&D projects, training activities, and seminars..
• Keep in touch with the latest Open Source technologies through our various projects to which you may be invited to participate.
Skills
• Background in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent
• Proven work experience as a Technical Manager/Solution Architect or similar role
• Project management experience; management of projects implementing open-source technologies is advantageous
• In-depth understanding of programming languages, Java, Mobile Flutter, Docker/Kubernetes container technologies
• Knowledge of various operating systems and databases (PostgreSQL, Cassandra, OpenSearch, S3, RabbitMQ, and Pulsar are a plus)
• Agile-Scrum methodology
• Understanding email protocols is a plus
• Efficient communication skills, strong organizational and leadership skills
• Good in English; French is a plus
• Love to share experiences, and contribute to user communities.
• Active participation in open-source communities
