Requirements

Averagely good at English (verbal and written)
2.5+ year experience in working with front-end projects
Proficient at JavaScript library and framework (jQuery, Angular / React)
Excellent at HTML, HTML 5, CSS
Knowledge of CSS preprocessors (i.e. Sass)
Excellent with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap
Working experience with GIT
Experience with Agile methodology (Scrum)
Knowledge of SEO principles
Open-minded and good at adapting to frequent changes, willing to learn new technologies while working

Skills

Strong knowledge in HTML5/CSS3 markup skills
Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
Knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Familiar with browser testing and debugging
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Good knowledge of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
Knowledge of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
Knowledge of layout aesthetics
Excellent analytical and multitasking skills

Must Have

Be able to communicate in English (written and verbal) at least intermediate level.
Be able to discuss technical problems with peers

Ideally

At least 2.5 years of experience working with web or mobile web projects
BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field / Higher Diploma in software engineering

Responsibilities

Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency
Design web-based features
Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
Create quality mock-ups and prototypes
Write functional requirement documents and guides
Collaborate with back-end developers, web designers, and other team members to improve usability
Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting

You’ll be responsible for

Collaborating with other teams to design and implement responsive web features
Executing and converting designs into HTML5/CSS
Implementing standards-compliance and cross-browser front-end code of the enterprise mobile and web applications with HTML, CSS, Javascript using library/framework including jQuery, Bootstrap, etc
