.sketch UI ? #7

Very new to all of this, in https://github.com/rust-awesome-app/template-app-base/tree/main/design there is a .sketch file, this type of file can only be edited on Mac from what I have read.

Is this just for prototyping or is this part of the actual UI running in the template-app-base ?
