Is project still active? #873

Hi

i just looking for django eshop, and this project look promisely is it still active? i am asking because of dependency django<3.1 from django 3.x only 3.2 is still alive and also it is LTS are you planning to add support for django 3.2?

or is there any fork which continues in this project?

I've been using it for quite a while. Code gets bulky and unreadable after a while, and there are no updates for the latest Django. Would recommend using Medusa or Saleor instead

Currently I am replacing django-angular against django-formset (a library which has no dependencies to any JavaScript framework). If that library is ready, I probably will replace the rendering part against HTMX.

In order to keep that project alive, it would be a really good idea to hire me as a contractor in order to build an e-commerce site using django-SHOP. This helps

  1. to fund the project
  2. motivate me to work on something used by others
  3. to understand what clients really need
